For this project we wanted to explore how the create shots, scenes and what different Genres needed to include.
We did this by making a Mise En Scene of a western which turned out a bit like this:

[Thankyou to jeffrichphoto.com for this picture]We did this by making a Mise En Scene of a western which turned out a bit like this:

Includes: Cowboy boots, sandy terrain, deserted building, very blue sky.
It includes many aspects that are crusial to the genre. This excersize proved that you can easily create a certain Genre by setting up a scene right and including certain clichéd items.
The shots tasl was to find out how to several different techniques such as 180 degree rule, close up and match on action. I found it very educational to take part in this task because it showed me how easy it was to create effective shots and sequences.
Me, Jesse Loyd, Matt Foster and Robyn Furtado worked together very well and created the peice easily. I enjoyed working in this group. We finished realatively quickly which meant that we had more time to reflect on our work. During this excersize we learnt how to use a tripod and the cameras also. I'm sure i'll find these new skills usefull for the later projects.
If we were to develop this task further we would like to edit the task together because Jesse had to do all the editing himself (and very well done it was too).
To improve the work I would have liked to have used a tripod more to create steady shots and a more professional effect.
Here is the final peice (which we're very proud of =] )
